I have bad teeth. This is a fact. It is a fact supported by my dental history of more than a dozen root canals and half a dozen oral surgeries. I am on my way to one right now actually.
The prospect of sitting in the dentist chair for 2 hours while they drill, spray and conduct other sundry processes is not pleasant. But on the bright side, it is an opportunity to infuse a little more hydration to my parched face (I blame the fickle weather in NYC that resurrected our heater from a deep slumber this past week).
While the idea of wearing an ornately decorated sheet mask such as Skin 9 Village’s Peking Opera mask cracks me up, I decided against it. I don’t want my surgeon being distracted during the procedure.
So off I go with a thick layer of Too Cool for School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack slathered on my face. Having gone through this routine several times before, I know a face rinse when I get home is going to be a treat for me, so a sleeping pack seemed like the way to go. Plus the packaging is so delightful, it helps lighten my gloomy mood.
The Peking Opera sheet mask will have to wait until later tonight – it will be perfect for dressing up my swollen face after the surgery.
