Miracle oil that saved my nails

You know how your nails get all white and ridge-y when they’re dry?  For me, it’s not so much the polish or appliqué or nail glue.  In my case, nail dryness is always caused by the removal process. I mean, I can’t be the only one who takes joy in peeling off gel polish, right?  There’s something so sinfully delightful about peeling those color chips off your nails, like picking at a scab you know you shouldn’t even touch.

I’ve tried all manner of Sally Hansen offerings that promise to restore moisture to the nails. I was even a devotee of Nailtiques’ Formula 2 and of course, Formula 2 Plus. I still am. But my latest discovery for instant nail treatment is… Tarte’s Maracuja Oil:

You don't want to know what it looked like before...
You don’t want to know what it looked like before…

While it isn’t cheap, a small drop is enough for my both of my tiny Trump-sized hands so one bottle lasts me quite a while.  And since its original intended purpose was to moisturize skin, it does wonders for treating my flaky, chapped cuticles.

Oh and I hear it’s pretty good for your skin, too… if you’re into that sort of thing.
